Live Weather is a spatially enabled, trial weather information service developed by the Bureau of Meteorology. Utilising Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards, the Bureau's OGC Web Services provide Web Map Service (WMS) and Web Feature Service (WFS) access to near real-time weather information. The weather data can also be accessed in spatial formats, shapefile or geographic Markup Language (GML) for display or integration into a user's own spatial data (GIS) and management systems.
